So here you are, looking for the mind behind the design. I’ll spare the dry stuff for the resume.
My story is a little different than most artists. I never grew up drawing and my high school days weren’t filled with art classes. In fact, I never took a single one.
It was an 11th grade research paper that exposed me to graphic design. From that point, I was hooked.
Having no art experience, I was determined to apply only to private art universities. For 3 months, every day after school was spent with the art teacher learning how to draw, in hopes to meet the portfolio requirements of the colleges I would apply to.
Not only was I accepted into CCAD, but I was awarded the President’s Scholarship.
I am an award-winning professional designer, graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design, avid soccer player and coach, mother to the best furry, four-legged child, fan of all things Ohio State – and yes, I thoroughly enjoy matching my dog on game day.
Heightened from over 20 years of athletics, my passion, dedication, leadership and competitive drive is expressed in everything that I do.
